UW Mobile Planetarium, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Check out the UW’s mobile planetarium in Meany Hall. The mobile planetarium brings modern astronomy down from space and into schools, providing students with an immersive experience. Learn more about how the UW’s mobile planetarium helps inspire students in Seattle-area schools.

T-shirt giveaway at 11:30 a.m.

Head to Red Square to grab your free commemorative HuskyFest T-shirt. Available while supplies last!

Free ice cream from Cupcake Royale at 12:30 p.m.

Take a midday study break and grab some ice cream from Cupcake Royale! They’ll be serving scoops of red velvet and burnt caramel with sea salt beginning at 12:30 p.m. Available while supplies last.

H-U-S-K-Y basketball competition, 1:30–2:30 p.m.

Shoot hoops with UW basketball team members in a game of H-U-S-K-Y.

ArtsUW, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Learn about upcoming arts events on campus, and spin the wheel for a chance to win great prizes.

ASUW Brick Dance, 8­–10 p.m.

Kick off Friday night with your fellow Huskies at the ASUW’s second annual Brick Dance, featuring Tangerine, a UW student alternative pop group, and student Djs.

Burke Museum

Stop by the Burke Museum’s booth for a sneak peek of the latest special exhibit, Plastics Unwrapped. Enjoy free admission to the museum between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Student Philanthropy Education Program (SPEP) and Senior Class Gift

Join SPEP’s scavenger hunt to participate in a fun campus tour while learning about the large impact donors have on our beautiful campus. Then head over to the Senior Class Gift table to score some fun prizes, while supplies last. Learn more about this year’s gift.

Peruse Plastics Unwrapped, the Burke Museum’s current special exhibit, and other current displays and exhibits for free on April 19.

Free admission to the Henry Art Gallery 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Enjoy free admission to the Henry Art Gallery on April 19 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A pioneer in bringing contemporary art and ideas to the Pacific Northwest, the Henry has a range of exhibitions currently on display.

Jacob Lawrence Gallery 12–4 p.m.

Wander through the graduation exhibit for the students in the Interdisciplinary Visual Arts Program at the Jacob Lawrence Gallery. The exhibit features ceramics, fibers, metals, painting, printmaking, sculpture and photography.

Scholars’ Studio: Pacific Northwest Research @the Commons 4–5:30 p.m.

Graduate students and postdocs researching interdisciplinary topics give rapid-fire ignite-style presentations (limited to 5 minutes each) in this fun, interactive event at the Allen Library South.

GPSS pizza party, 4–7 p.m.

Check out the GPSS grad student pizza party with bowling, ping-pong and more in the HUB games area. *Must show student I.D. and be 21 or over to attend.
