Trivia Quiz

The total budget for the year 1880-81 was $4,060, so Pres. Alexander J. Anderson taught psychology, mathematics, and pedagogics and his wife, Louisa, taught botany, zoology, and rhetoric. Their son Louis was the Latin and Greek instructor and their son Charles taught bookkeeping. Two other sons offered "plain and ornamental penmanship." Anderson and his wife received $1,620, but there is no mention of separate salaries for their sons. (Gates, p. 41)
