Exploration Seminars
Designed as 5-credit, four-week courses, these global Exploration Seminars will offer you the chance to explore a topic intensively within the focused inquiry of a learning community and separated from the familiarity of the everyday.

Shawn Wong takes 2 UW students with him to China
Shawn Wong, Professor, Department of English, has been invited to bring a group of writers, writing professional, people who are involved in literary organizations, etc., to China to meet similar professionals in the Peoples Republic of China.

Faculty Opportunities

The UW-University of Bergen Faculty Exchange Program
Visiting Professor appointments at the University of Bergen, Norway, are available for a minimum term of one quarter. Appointments can also be arranged at NTNU (the Norwegian University of Science and Technology) in Trondheim. UW faculty receive travel expenses and subsidized housing, and continue to receive their salary.
