Drumheller Fountain and Frosh Pond

Pictorial History Previous Next
Originally called Geyser Basin for the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, the name was changed to Frosh Pond when a group of sophomores threw some freshmen into the pond.

Student activities in the mid-60's included "Garb Day" at Frosh Pond and the nontraditional "Be-in" expressing the pacificism of weekly "Gentle Thursday." (Sanders, p. 15)
