Become part of the innovation ecosystem!

GIX is currently accepting nominations from GIX Academic Network member institutions for exceptional students and potential future innovators to join us for the inaugural year of the GIX Summer Program to take place at the new, state-of-the-art GIX facility located in Bellevue, Washington, USA.

The GIX Summer Program is a two week innovation “boot camp” designed to introduce participants to the skills they will need to take an innovation from concept to development and on to launch. Modeled after the University of Washington’s interdisciplinary Master of Science in Technology Innovation (MSTI) curriculum, week one of the GIX Summer Program will offer intensive workshops in design thinking, technology development, and entrepreneurship taught by GIX faculty and leaders in industry. Week two will place participants alongside GIX graduate students and industry sponsors to work on current projects providing participants with practical insight to the launch process. Participants will also have time to enjoy the vibrant culture and spectacular scenery of the Seattle metropolitan area.

Nominations for the 2018 GIX Summer Program are due no later than May 4, 2018.
