Global Opportunities

A partnership between the Office of Global Affairs, Undergraduate Academic Affairs and Minority Affairs & Diversity, Global Opportunities strives to make study abroad accessible for all UW undergraduates by supporting students in as they plan for study abroad, providing financial support via the GO! and Fritz Scholarships and promoting diversity within the study abroad community through events and outreach. Two Global Opportunities Advisers, located in the Center for Experiential Learning & Diversity and International Programs & Exchanges, are available to support students.

International Tuition Waivers

On an annual basis, the Office of the Provost provides funding for incoming international students. The Office of the Provost invites applications during the winter quarter, and announces awards during the spring quarter.

Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards

A resource for undergraduates, the Office of Merit Scholarships, Fellowships & Awards offers a searchable database of scholarships which includes listings for funding opportunities related to study abroad, as well as advising, workshops and additional resources.

International Programs & Exchanges

Study Abroad advisers can help students identify financial aid resources for study abroad, including scholarships.
