Freshman Convocation

Freshman Convocation parking

All parking on campus is free of charge on Sunday, September 21st. The gatehouses at the entrances to campus will be staffed, should you have any questions or special needs.

Students and their guests can select a parking lot when they order their convocation tickets.┬áRenovations to Husky Stadium, as well as the construction for the University station for Seattle’s new light rail system, are currently underway in the area and limit some parking options.

Disability parking will be available in front of the Tubby Graves Bldg. and in the E17 parking lot (see map). Special disability parking for the picnic is also available in the N22 and C10 lots. Please be aware however, that after the ceremony, a Dial-A-Ride shuttle will be available in front of the Graves Building to transport guests with impaired mobility or special needs to the President’s Picnic.

Regular parking will be in the E1 and E12 parking lots.
