All parking on campus is free of charge on Sunday, September 22nd. The gatehouses at the entrances to campus will be staffed, should you have any questions or special needs.
Students and their guests can select a parking lot when they order their convocation tickets. Please note that disability parking will be available in either the Tubby Graves/IMA parking lot or in the E-18 lot. There will be dawg sleds (golf carts) running from the E-18 lot to Hec Edmundson Pavilion.
Renovations to Husky Stadium, as well as the construction for the University station for Seattle’s new light rail system, are currently affecting a number of parking lots. Available parking lots are shown on the parking map. General parking will be in the E-1 lot north of Hec Edmundson Pavilion and in the E-12 lot south of Husky Stadium. Access to the E-12 lot will be available from the northbound or southbound lanes of Montlake Blvd.
There will be a drop-off point in front of the Graves Building for guests with disabilities or mobility limitations. The Graves Building is just north of Hec Edmundson Pavilion and can only be accessed via the northbound lanes of Montlake Blvd. Parking in the Graves/IMA lot can be reserved via the order form but it is limited. Those who are not able to obtain parking in this lot will need to proceed to their parking areas after dropping off disabled passengers.
After the ceremony, a Dial-A-Ride shuttle will be available in front of the Graves Building to transport guests with impaired mobility or special needs to the President’s Picnic.
