The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) announced today that its chairman, William D. Adams, will be resigning from his position, effective Tuesday, May 23.
He was nominated to lead the NEH by President Obama in 2014. Prior to joining the agency, Adams served as the president of Colby College for 14 years.
