On the Senate Floor

The Senate is expected to vote Monday on amendments to the FAA reauthorization bill (HR 1586).   Later in the week, the Senate is likely to take up the budget reconciliation (HR 4872) package for a health care overhaul that the House passed on Sunday, March 21, and a bill extending expiring programs (HR 4851).

On the House Floor

The House is expected later this week to take up a bill of tax breaks for small businesses.

Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs marks up a draft bill to overhaul financial industry regulations.

Tuesday

Senate Energy and Natural Resources marks up bills on renewable-energy standards ( S 1462 )

Wednesday

Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation marks up bills on cybersecurity ( S 773 ), oceans and human health ( S 1252 ) and fisheries ( S 2870 , S 2871

Thursday

  • House Science and Technology Subcommittee on Energy and Environment marks up pending bills.   
  • Senate Judiciary marks up bills on refugees’ residency status ( S 2960 ), immigrants’ right to return ( S 2974 ), medical bankruptcy ( S 1624 ), Freedom of Information Act delays ( S 3111 ) and community anti-drug programs ( S 303 )
