NOAA has requested a total of $4.5 billion in FY 2010, which is an increase of $110M over the FY 2009 enacted level. The Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR) requests a total of $404.6 million which is an increase of $3.7 million over the FY 2009 enacted level.

$63.9 million for Weather and Air Quality Research
$107.4 million for Ocean, Coastal, and Great Lakes Research
$13.1 million for Information Technology, R&D, and Science Education, and
$10.4 million for Procurement, Acquisition, and Construction.
