NightRide

Service Information


NightRide is a shuttle service that provides a safe and easy way for U-PASS members to get home at night.

All shuttles are wheelchair accessible.

Campus Stop Locations
  • Shuttles run every 20 minutes picking up passengers from 6 locations around campus before dropping passengers off at requested destinations within one of two zones.
Shuttle Schedule
  • Shuttle service runs from 8 p.m. until midnight, Monday through Friday (excluding University holidays and summer quarter). For Spring Quarter 2013, NightRide will run until 1:30 a.m. as a pilot project to test for student demand after midnight.

UWPD Husky NightWalk

  • Husky NightWalk provides uniformed safety guards to walk with you to increase your personal safety on and around campus. The service is available to the University community 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. seven days a week, excluding University holidays. Please contact the UW Police Department’s Husky NightWalk Service at (206) 685-9255 for more information, or to schedule an escort.

Service Updates


NightRide now operates Monday through Friday during the regular academic quarter, excluding University Holidays.

For Spring Quarter 2013 only, NightRide will operate until 1:30 a.m.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, schedule or service changes will be posted on our website. You can also call 206.685.3146 for updates between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. or (206) 300-9087 during hours of shuttle operation.
