The following lots are only open to students looking to purchase daytime parking permits and are living in residence halls. New permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and the following table does not necessarily reflect current availability.

Commuting students are only able to purchase daytime parking permit in E18.

Students with AVI cards may use unrestricted areas but must stop at a campus gatehouse to receive an Out-Of-Area permit to display.

Note: Additional assignments are possible for students with disabilities.

Students purchasing permits can only do so in person at Transportation Services. More information about renewing existing parking permits.

Permit prices

Rates for student parking permits are calculated by multiplying the number of school days in the quarter by the $2.50/night night rate. Parking lot assignments are determined based on availability in student lots and permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you are interested in purchasing a nighttime student parking permit, please visit Transportation Services to purchase a parking permit.

Student quarterly renewals

This information is intended for students with a current parking permit interested in renewing their permit for the next academic quarter.

Expiration

All permits are valid through the end of the printed expiration date on the front of the permit; day-specific permits are valid only on marked days of the week. Student parking permits generally expire after the last day of finals week.

Renewal options

The option to renew your permit starts about two calendar weeks before the end of the academic quarter, and ends when your permit expires. Permits are issued on a first-come first-served basis, subject to availability. To renew your permit bring your Husky Card to Transportation Services. Permits must be purchased from Transportation Services in-person. You can submit your vehicle registration  online.

Changing your permit

Customers are always welcome to make changes to their parking permit. However, not all lot assignments will necessarily be available at all times. We invite existing Academic permit holders to renew their products during the last two weeks of each academic quarter. After that time, lot assignments are granted based on availability. Therefore, customers wishing to change their lot assignment or Night permit holders wishing to change the weekdays designated on their permit will typically have more options beginning the Monday after finals week.
