The UW Fleet Services is a leader in the purchase of alternative fuel vehicles. Having over 150 ethanol flex fuel vehicles, and 27 hybrid/electric co generation vehicles (out of a fleet of over 700 vehicles) puts the UW Fleet Services among the Top US 100 Fleets. There are over 50 diesel powered trucks on campus that run on biofuel from the Fleet Services pumps!

All vehicles include ice scrapers and snow chains.
