Special Designator Fees

Special designators are premium additions that may be purchased with approval from Commuter Services to add greater location flexibility to regular parking permits.

The “U” Universal Designator allows the UW permit holder to park in any parking lot on campus when conducting University business based on job duties. All lots are available for this purpose EXCEPT:

• Disabled/wheelchair spaces or lots including Lot N22 (HUB). If needed, request temporary disabled parking at a campus gatehouse
• Reserved parking spaces or areas as posted
• Spaces restricted for specific use
• Spaces marked University Vehicles Only (includes Physical Plant vehicles, service vehicles, trucks)
• Triangle & Surgery Pavilion Garages
• Lots C14, C17 and N03
• Gated lots & garages restricted by card swipe access
• Laurel & Blakeley Village lots H12 & H14 (Operated by Housing and Food Services)
• Parking meters, numbered Pay-by-Space stalls, or permit issuance machines

The “S” Service Designator allows permit holders who are not affiliated with UW to park in any campus lot EXCEPT:

• Disability/wheelchair spaces or lots, including Lot N22 (HUB). If needed, request temporary disabled parking at a campus gatehouse
• Reserved parking spaces or areas as posted
• Spaces restricted for specific use
• Spaces marked University Vehicles Only
• Gated lots & garages restricted by card swipe access
• Laurel & Blakeley Village lots H12 & H14 (Operated by Housing and Food Services)
• Parking meters, numbered Pay-by-Space stalls, or permit issuance machines
