FREE Bike Bells!
Date: Friday, November 4, 2011 - 10:00am
Location: UW Information and Visitors Center (next to the By George Cafe in the Odegaard Undergraduate Library)
As part of UW’s 150th birthday and to help kick off Ride in the Rain, Commuter Services is partnering with the UW Information and Visitors Center and PromoShop to give away 150 bicycle bells to the first 150 takers, FREE!
We want everyone to have a safe and serene Ride in the Rain. A stylish bell is the best way to alert pedestrians and slower-moving bicyclists that you’re about to overtake them, which is why the humble bike bell cracked Commuter Services’ Top 5 Bicycle Accessories.
To pick up your free bell, just stop by the UW Information and Visitors Center in the By George lobby (022 Odegaard) on W Day, November 4th, beginning at 10 AM. The first 150 visitors will receive a cool bicycle bell with the 150th logo on it - perfect for ringing in the rainy season!
