Daytime Parking for Student Commuters and Student Housing Residents

The following lots are available to students for daytime permit purchase, which includes fulltime parking permits for dormitory residents. New permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and the following table does not necessarily reflect current availability.

Students with valid daytime parking permits are assigned a single parking lot and will not be able to obtain Out-Of-Area permits from campus gatehouses. After 4pm, when parking availability increases, students with valid daytime parking permits may park in unrestricted parking lots.

Note: Additional assignments are possible for students with disabilities.

Students purchasing permits for the first time can only do so in person at the Commuter Services Office. Please click here for a schedule of when new permit sales start for the academic upcoming quarter, as well as information about renewing existing parking permits.

Rates for student parking permits are calculated by multiplying the number of school days in the quarter by the Faculty and Staff SOV rate; students who are registered at the UW and enrolled in classes at the time of purchase will receive a discount on the parking permit, approximately equal to the amount paid for the $76.00 per Quarter U-PASS fee.
