Latest FS‑WORKS Enhancements

Thanks to customer suggestions, FS‑WORKS is continually improved. Just type FS‑WORKS into your web browser address and you will find new service providers and enhanced features being added all the time. FS‑WORKS makes the entry, routing and tracking of work orders easy.

Searching by Room Number or Location

In Spring 2006 a new room selection tool was introduced in FS‑WORKS. Now you can use this same tool to search by Building and room number or location. Enter the building name or FACNUM first, then the room/location drop down will become available to select from. After selecting the room or specifying OTHER location, press the FIND button to initiate the search.

Most Recent Work Orders Retrieved First

Now when you do a search of your work, the most recently entered work requests will appear at the top of the search list.

Ability to Re-submit Rejected Requests

Now you can re-submit rejected requests. In the past you had to re-enter requests that had been rejected by Facilities Services. Now, all you have to do is click the “Edit & reSubmit” button, edit your request (such as adding a budget number) and click “Submit” again and your request is off to Facilities Services.
