Wood Table is Actually Metal!

Here’s a truly unusual table/ desk that caught our eye initially because of its nicely retro curved edges … but we realized upon opening the drawer that the whole she-bang is made of cleverly disguised metal. A label on the inside says, “Simmons Furniture/ Finished with DuPont Dulux/ Metal Protected by Bonderite.” We’ve never seen one of these before, but its kitsch quotient is off the charts.
