Surplus
All items purchased with University funds that are no longer needed by a department, whether they are in working or non-working condition, must be transferred to Surplus for proper disposal. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Appliances
- Computers and peripherals
- Electronics
- Equipment
- Furniture
- Machinery
- Office supplies
Items with a resale value will be sold to other departments, non-profit groups, state agencies, and the public through public stores and auctions.
