In 2011, the UW School of Medicine was ranked first among primary-care medical schools in the country for the 18th consecutive year, according to annual rankings of graduate and professional programs published by U.S. News & World Report. In addition, the School ranked first in family medicine and first in rural medicine for the 20th year in a row. Also in the top spot is the UW School of Nursing’s master’s program, which tied for the top ranking.
