Here are two documents to help UW marketing and communications professionals understand the UW’s 2012-13 tuition proposal, which was presented to the Board of Regents on May 3. Links to the documents are posted on the External Affairs website. The board will adopt new tuition rates in June. These documents are subject to updates, so we recommend you use the links on the EA page to get the most current documents each time you need to refer to them.

The just-posted UW Viewbook Addendum is an updated message from President Michael K. Young. Use it as a supplement to the UW Viewbook. It can also be inserted into the president section in the front of the book or inserted into the back pocket. This one-page PDF can be printed at the copy center or on your laser printer:

KOMO TV will begin broadcasting episodes of UW 360 on March 4 at 4:30 p.m. — the slot just prior to their evening newscast. The broadcasts will continue for about 13 weeks and will include recent and past episodes from the series.

HuskyFest will be a three-day campus-wide event showcasing some of the amazing things going on at the UW. At the core of HuskyFest will be a large tented pavilion on Red Square featuring live music, performances, interactive displays and speakers. Outside the pavilion will be a festival with displays and information, mobile food trucks and scheduled activities.
On Saturday the public will be invited to concerts and performances, open houses, lectures and labs, reunions, panel discussions, campus and student-led tours, vendor booths, displays and sponsored giveaways.
More information will be posted as details are firmed up, so be sure to check back!
