Installation

The project is an installation work that focuses on the creation of a vital presence, and in doing so questions the very meaning and potentiality of vitality. The installation is a systematic space in which sculpture, heat, light and sound are in symbiotic dialogue with each other. Exploring the idea of vitality, the elements in this systematic space form relationships that at once refer to technological and biological systems. At the heart of this system is energy, the most fundamental element of life, which is transformed to light via low-pressure vacuum tubes, sound, and heat. Through the ebb and flow of this vital energy through different mediums, the installation space will embody a liminal state that is the meeting place between physical object and phenomenon.
