Transient is a dual channel video composition that explores the boundaries of individual identity. As the protagonist is submerged in the temporal currents that conduct the past and present, she faces familiar concerns of boundaries, aging and the self.
About the Artist:
Alexis Eggertsen plans to continue to investigate sound, net and video based artwork, as well as branching further into installation and interactive formats. With a primary background in literature and poetry as well as music composition, she is interested in preserving a sensual, emotional and playful approach to her work while more formally experimenting with technology and medium.
