Alex Georgescu 3D Projection on Plaster 6ft x 4.5ft Absorbed is a short animation that explores the potential of stereo environments, and experiments with projection on non-flat surfaces. About the Artist: Alexandra Georgescu is currently a student at the University of Washington, enrolled in the DXARTS program. Planning to graduate in 2008, Alexandra has been mostly studying visual forms of art, from drawing and animation to film making and 3d. Over the next year she will be working on her senior thesis project, which will be completed by June 2008. Alexandra came from Romania in 1999 and has always dreamed of being an artist. She graduated from Mercer Island High School in 2003, where she also took courses that covered Photoshop, Illustrator, C++, and web page design. More info. |  |
