We Spent Our Time Lusting After Uneven Terrain
T. Jared Friend
steel, acryllic, polyethylene, LCDs, speakers, contact mics, gravel
24' X 6'
A video installation with real-time sound synthesis that attempts to preemptively mediate a physical experience with a cinematic one.
About the Artist:
Jared is unabashedly dedicated in his desire to learn and be challenged by anyone willing to offer up a spare moment. While not dedicated to any particular medium, he is, and always will be, in love with film and the effect it has on perceptions of spaces (whether physical or virtual) and the impact cinematic experience has on our collective memory.
