Scholarship Saturday

Time: 1pm-5pm Location: University of Washington, Mary Gates Hall

Scholarship Saturday is a Dream Project event where high school students are invited to the University of Washington campus, to work on scholarship applications. With the support of scholarship experts and mentors, high school students will be able to find scholarships that are a good fit for them and fill out and submit high quality applications. Students will also have the opportunity to attend relevant workshops and presentations about scholarships and financial aid. This event is open to all high school students.  Snacks and drinks will be provided. Limited bus transportation will be provided. Parking is free in the UW Central Plaza Garage.

How can high school students participate?

To take full advantage of the events, come prepared with your questions about FAFSA and WASFA and financial aid as well as bring the following:

  • Laptop (if you have one available)
    • FAFSA and WASFA log-in information (if you have already started)
    • Social security number (if applicable)
  • Personal Statement
  • Water bottle
  • Any additional relevant materials
