My name is Amy. I graduated from high school and attend a school for dental assistants. I love to go out with friends and see everything there is to see in life. I have a learning disability that interferes with my reading and writing. I also have ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), which interferes with many things at school and home. I love to help other people.

My name is Silvia. I was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (brittle bone or glass bones), which means that my bones break easily. I'm attending a state university and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in business. I enjoy listening to all sorts of music and hanging out with friends.

Hello, my name is Rebecca . I live with my mom, dad, and little sister, Lisa. I have a learning disability. I have worked one year at a nursing home. I really like Anime/manga (Japanese cartoons and comics). I also enjoy reading, playing the computer, and baking.

My name is Ian. I graduated from high school a year ago. This year I will be a sophomore at a state university. I'm interested in software engineering image processing, and other computer-related occupations. I hope to learn several programming languages including C++ and Java at the College of Engineering. The DO-IT program will assist me in world domination or in getting a steady job working at Microsoft, where I had an internship last summer.

She helps me be successful. I like working out, listening to music, dancing, hanging out with friends, and snowboarding. I was an Intern in Summer Study 2004. DO-IT has been a really good experience for me.

I plan to major in biology. My career interests lie in medical laboratory work and, if I'm still feeling ambitious after four long years, medical research.

Hi. My name is Jared. This past year has been exciting. I was operated on twice and got a new lead for my heart. The doctors placed it right inside the center of my heart. It has increased my oxygen levels from 67% to 81%. I use my DO-IT laptop in all my classes at college. I'm interested in science the most.

Hi. My name is Andrew and I attended a private art school last year. I found that I am more interested in fine arts than graphic art. I painted quite a bit last year. I enjoy being with friends and watching wrestling on TV. This summer I swam, went boating, floated the Yakima River, and visited the Oregon Coast.

My name is Chris, and I am a sophomore at a public university. I am planning on double majoring with degrees in Computer Science as well as Discrete Mathematics and Algorithms. I have Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy. Last summer I was an intern at Microsoft working with an E-Business team, and this summer I'm interning at Western Wireless working in the Vital Operations group of the call center.

I'm Carson, and I just finished my first year at a state university. I was well prepared thanks to DO-IT. Although, with my learning disability, it was tough, I had the confidence to persevere and the will power to work hard. I was determined to get an internship experience this summer so during Winter break I spent a lot of time filling out applications. I was offered a position with NASA through a program called Entry Point!, and I'm working at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi right now! It has been a great experience so far. My hobbies are French horn and tennis.

I'm Dale. I have Cerebral Palsy. I graduated from high school, where I was a football manager for four years and also enjoyed choir. I have just completed my first year at a state university, where I am majoring in Political Science and managed to make the President's Honor Roll. My favorite subject is law, and I hope to be a lawyer someday. In the fall I will be a peer advisor to five incoming freshmen who are interested in Political Science.

Hi, my name is Ryan. I participate in the Youth Leadership Forum and just completed my second year at a community college. I am working on my communications degree. I hope to someday be in human resources. I am looking forward to some good job shadowing experiences. I was an Intern in Summer Study 2004.

Hey everyone! I am Angela. I have a mild case of Cerebral Palsy. I am currently at the end of my third quarter at community college where I am studying psychology to become a social worker or counselor for teenagers. I am also looking into doing some modeling for agencies in the next couple of months. I live at home with my father. I was an Intern for Summer Study 2004, which I really enjoyed! It was a great experience that I recommend to anyone with any type of disability.
