Does an employer have to post information about the Americans with Disabilities Act?

If an employer is covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), they must post a notice describing the provisions of the ADA.

According to the ADA Questions and Answers website, which is sponsored by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, the posting "must be made accessible, as needed, to individuals with disabilities. A poster is available from EEOC summarizing the requirements of the ADA and other Federal legal requirements for nondiscrimination for which EEOC has enforcement responsibility. EEOC also provides guidance on making this information available in accessible formats for people with disabilities."
