Are there documents offered online in Spanish that discuss disabilities and education?
Yes. Here are a few examples:
- The National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities (NICHCY) offers a wide variety of information in Spanish on its Spanish Language Resources page. Information is available regarding specific disabilities, laws, health care, assistive technology, Individualized Education Plans, mediation, and many other topics.
- The International Center for Disability Resources on the Internet maintains a webpage called Web Accessibility and Disability Resources in Spanish that has links to a wide variety of topics.
- The U.S. Office of Civil Rights, which provides information about discrimination and equal access, maintains a website called Spanish fact sheets about laws against discrimination.
- The National Center on Accessible Information Technology in Education (AccessIT) maintains a website called AccessIT Documents in Spanish.
