Teacher at James John Elementary School and lead intern with the Vancouver Fire Department's Office of the Fire Marshal.

Graduated from Western Washington University (WWU) where he founded an organization called Students for Disability Awareness. Beginning WWU's accelerated MBA program. Works remotely for the U.S. Department of Agriculture on information technology accessibility and for PAVE, a nonprofit organization, on disability health care for youth. In January 2012, was appointed to the Washington State Governor's Committee of Disability Issues and Employment.
