Lukas '04 Scholar

Joined the Oregon Crusader's Division III Drum and Bugle Corps and traveled throughout the country to play and compete.

Graduated from the University of Washington and was hired by NOAA.

Lived at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO, as part of the Paralympic Athlete Resident Program.

Heidi '07 Scholar

Part of Charles Cotugno's Stories of Autism book. Presenter on autism at two schools. Had her writing printed in three publications and received an honors award from Redmond High School.

Oscar '06 Scholar

Future Business Leader of America state vice president for the Northeast region.

Nate '99 Scholar

Planning to begin Peace Corps service in sub-Saharan Africa. A distance runner who trained to qualify for the 2008 Paralympics.

Gabe '06 Scholar

Chamber of Commerce student of the month.

Jessie '98 Scholar

Passed the California Bar Exam in May 2008, and works as a lawyer in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Cheri '96 Scholar

Competed in track-and-field in the Paralympic Games in Beijing, China.

Carrie '04 Scholar

Worked at the resources booth at the Snohomish County Transition Fair and co-presented "Differences between High School and College."

Kaitlin '06 Scholar

Wrote her first fan fiction book.

Interned at Microsoft during the summer. Attending Stanford.

Competed in the marathon event and the 400m and 800m races at the Paralympic Games in Beijing, China.

Wrote assistive technology presentations for the Center for Independence in Lakewood. Worked at a home-show geared toward people with disabilities.

Worked in hospitals in Ethiopia as part of an independent study program at the University of Washington.

Daman '05 Scholar

Organized a campus-wide Disability Awareness week at Western Washington University. Received Citizen of the Year Award from the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce and the Trailblazer Award from DO-IT.
