DO-IT Scholars are high school students with disabilities who plan to attend college and pursue careers. They are interested in a variety of challenging fields, such as science, mathematics, engineering, and technology. They attend Summer Study Programs on the University of Washington campus in Seattle. They communicate via the Internet year-round with each other and with DO-IT Mentors. As DO-IT Scholars move on to college and employment, they become DO-IT Ambassadors, sharing their experiences with the younger Scholars.
Form bios of DO-IT Scholars and Ambassadors consult the publication DO-IT Snapshots.
More information can be found at the DO-IT Scholars Program.
