Terraserver

DESCRIPTION

Terraserver is the home of the World Imagery Database. At the Terraserver site, you can view satellite images and aerial photos of cities throughout the United States. There are also images for cities located in other parts of the world. You can search for locations by selecting from a list of famous places or by selecting the "find a spot on earth" option. You do not need to know the longitude or latitude of a location, only the name. You can also look up a map of the area to compare to the satellite images and aerial photos.
