Math Programs via Email

DESCRIPTION

NetLib is a collection of advanced mathematical software, papers and databases maintained by AT&T Bell labs, the University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Laboratories in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Its materials are available by email. 

PROCEDURE

You can access this site through email, ftp software and web browsers. To have the index sent to you: 

  1. Go to the following URL:

  2. Use an FTP Program to access the following URL:
    http://www.netlib.org/utk/netlib_html_guide/section3_13.html
    login= anonymous
    password= your complete email address
  3. Compose an email message to:
    netlib@netlib.org
    Leave the Subject: line blank.
    In the body of the message type:
    send index
