On-line College Registration


DESCRIPTION

On the World Wide Web there are several sites from which you can submit your college application electronically or print and send your application(s) to the appropriate college(s) yourself.

PROCEDURE

  1. Use your WWW browser to access the sites whose URLs are listed below.
    URL: http://webpages.charter.net/presnet/presnet.html
    PresNet (The Presidents' Network, Inc.) is an organization of colleges and universities representing 34 states. Students can apply to all of PresNet's colleges and universities for no cost with one application. The application form is available on-line.

    URL: http://www.collegenet.com/
    CollegeNET contains information on schools, financial aid, and admissions applications. It features a listing of community colleges, universities, vocational schools, and technical training schools. To submit applications electronically a charge is involved.

  2. Explore the sites of interest. Use the bookmark capabilities of your browser to save the site locations for future use.
  3. Use the exit command to quit your WWW browser.
