DESCRIPTION

The following Web sites provide opportunities to share information and network with others job seekers in a specific industry. Many Internet-based discussion lists also focus on a variety of topics and professions that you can join.

PROCEDURE

  1. Use your WWW browser to access the sites whose URLs are:

    Topica http://www.topica.com/

    Women's Networking and Professional Associations http://www.quintcareers.com/womens_networking_organizations.html

  2. Explore the site. Use the bookmark capabilities of your browser to save the site locations for future use.
  3. Use the exit command to quit your WWW browser.
