Disability-related issues can be easily integrated into many areas of study. The Disability Studies for Teachers  website, developed by the Center on Human Policy at Syracuse University, contains lesson plans, materials, and resources to help educators integrate disability studies into social studies, history, literature, and related subjects. The lesson plans were developed for teachers of students in grades 6-12 but can be adapted for use in postsecondary education.
Specific examples of how accessibility topics can be integrated into web design courses at K-12 or postsecondary levels of instruction are included in the DO-IT  publication Universal Design of Web Pages in Class Projects .
