Did You Know?

AOL was sued because its resources are inaccessible.

People who are blind and who have other disabilities united in a lawsuit against AOL because the graphical user interface that makes it popular with the general public is not accessible to people using speech output technology. These individuals were unable to register for AOL, receive or send mail, navigate the Internet or chat rooms because AOL depends on graphic images without providing text alternatives.
