Test anxiety is common among students with learning disabilities.

Many students with learning disabilities experience test anxiety. They must learn strategies to cope with this problem in addition to those related more directly to their learning disability. Some strategies for dealing with test anxiety include:

  • Discussing the problem with the instructor.
  • Learning test-taking strategies for different exam formats.
  • Developing time management skills.
  • Developing study skills.
  • Practicing relaxation techniques.
