Camp Description

At Easter Seals Camping Program, children and adults make friends, learn about and explore nature, sing songs around the campfire, experience the outdoors gain confidence and crate memories that linger long after the campfires have died down.

Nestled in the beautiful Sandy River Valley, Easter Seals Camping Program at Camp Angelos lies along the river's edge only 30 minutes by freeway from Portland. This excellent setting offers the opportunity to experience the essential natural qualities that are the heart of Oregon. Within this environment, Camp Angelos provides the optimum in facilities: comfortable cabins, modern bathhouse facilities, and a magnificent lodge at the hub of it all.

Hiking trails, campfire areas, playing fields, and the splendid Sandy River combine in a natural setting that makes Camp Angelos truly stand out. For almost 50 years, Easter Seals Oregon has helped to make these memories possible for thousands of campers. It is the mission of the Easter Seals Camping Program to provide and coordinate residential camping opportunities for children and adults with disabilities and provide the chance to achieve maximum independence in a recreational camp setting.
