DO-IT Summer Camps

This page provides information about the current DO-IT Summer Study program, camps that hosted programs offered by DO-IT, and resources that camps can use to implement their own technology, college, and career programs. Such programs enhance the academic and career skills of youth with disabilities within the context of an engaging camp setting.

DO-IT Summer Study

DO-IT supports Summer Study sessions at the University of Washington in Seattle for DO-IT Scholar participants. These Scholars are teenagers with a wide variety of disabilities that include those that impact seeing, hearing, mobility, speech, learning, and social interactions.

DO-IT Outreach Camps

DO-IT previously sponsored internet exploration and college and career preparation activities for youth with disabilities. These camps included Camp Angelos in Oregon, Camp Challenge in Florida, Camp Fairless Manor in Maryland, Camp Harmon in California, Camp Waskowitz in Washington, Camp Wawbeek in Wisconson, and Rocky Mountain Village in Colorado.

Camp Courage in Maple Lake, Minnesota was one of DO-IT's longest running collaborations and continues to be run by the Courage Center.
