Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science
The University of Washington is pleased to be a Platinum Sponsor of the 2012 Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) national conference. The conference will be held in Seattle on October 11-14, 2012. Over 4,000 attendees are expected, many of them undergraduates and graduate students from underrepresented communities. Members of the university community are invited to participate in the 2012 conference in one or more of the following ways:
- Sponsor an exhibit booth at the conference;
- Sign-up to be a part of the campus tour associated with the conference;
- Encourage faculty engagement as mentors, reviewers or judges;
- Encourage student participation in the conference by paying registration costs for students from your program.
