Elizabeth is the Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct (CSSC) a department in the Division of Student Life. Elizabeth joined the UW Community in 2007. She completed her bachelor’s degree in political science at Bowling Green State University and her masters in education with an emphasis in student affairs at the University of South Florida.

Dr. Julie Draper Davis
Julie is the Associate Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct. Julie joined the CSSC team Winter 2013. Julie brings with her a wealth of experience in student conduct, particularly in working with academic misconduct. Julie completed her undergraduate degree in English at the University of Portland and her master’s degree in student affairs at Michigan State University. Julie received her Ph.D. from Colorado State University. Her dissertation is entitled :

Ernest Shepard, Jr.
Ernest is the Assistant Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct. Ernest joined the office in Spring 2014. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas and his master’s degree in Higher Education Administration also from the University of Kansas. Ernest brings with him a strong background in working with students and has been recognized by the Association of Student Conduct Administrators as the Graduate Student of the Year 2014.

Matt is the Assistant Director of Community Standards and Student Conduct and Title IX Investigator. Matt joined the office in Autumn 2014. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Sports Administration Comprehensive from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership Studies with an option in College Student Development from Oklahoma State University. Matt is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Association of Student Conduct Administration as the 2016 ASCA Annual Conference Chair.

Raye Westad is the Program Coordinator for CSSC. Raye joined the CSSC team in 2011. She has a long history at the UW and has worked in many offices over a 20 year period. Raye is a long time HUSKY and studied geography and international studies at UW.
