Facility Rentals

Our Computer Rooms may be reserved by UW staff and faculty. Please submit the form at least two weeks prior to the date for which the room is needed. For urgent requests, contact Computer Training at (206) 685-2763 or training@u.washington.edu. Users must follow the UW Computer Training room policy.

Minimum Rental: 1 hour

Payment Type: Payable via a UW budget number.

Fees: See our pricing below. Please contact our office for Microsoft Certified Training and pricing.

  • $76.00 per hour (does not include our online registration system)
  • $100.00 per hour for custom setup and use of our online registration system

Cancelling Reservations: Once your reservation has been confirmed, cancelling your reservation will incur a charge of 30% of the confirmed cost.

Room Availability:

  • UW Computer Training courses receive priority use of the training facilities.
  • Training facilities are not available for continuous, quarter-long, regularly scheduled meetings of UW academic classes.


Room Policies:

  • Room orientation: All instructors must have a 15 minute room orientation prior to using the training facilities. The orientations will be scheduled at the time of the reservation if necessary.
  • Installation of software:
    • Installation of course-specific files or software on machines or servers should be regarded as a last-resort method. Preferred methods include distribution via the Web or on departmental-based servers, giving students the widest possible access. Installation will only be granted on a space-available basis subject to approval. All software, files, or hardware must be available to UW Computer Training for testing prior to the reservation. Any software, files, or hardware found to conflict with standard configurations will not be installed.
  • Beverages in spill-proof containers are welcome. Food is not allowed.
