Course Description
This class explores using some of HTML's more complex features in your Web pages and sites. Using XHTML and CSS together to effectively design, manage, and maintain your site is a key topic. This is a hands-on class with several exercises involving using these features in your own HTML documents.
What You Will Learn
Major topics covered in this class include the following:
- Key concepts of using graphics and colors
- How to create complex tables
- How to create HTML documents that will work with the widest variety of browsers.
- How to control presentation with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- How to control page layout with CSS.
- Managing pages and stylesheets in a site
Instructor
Prerequisites
UW faculty, staff, or student. 505 and experience creating HTML pages are helpful.
