The PC-Pine setup program assumes you are using Homer or Dante as your
email host, and it will try to access your inbox and folder collections on
the deskmail servers. If you use a system other than Homer or Dante as
your email host, you must reconfigure PC-Pine after it is installed.
To reconfigure PC-Pine to use an email host other than Homer or Dante:
- Start PC-Pine.
- Cancel the login by pressing <Control>
C (Cancel).
- Choose S (Setup) from the Main Menu, then press C
(Config).
- Modify all options necessary for your email host. To find out more
about an option in Setup Configuration, highlight it and press ?
(Help). (You may need to contact your departmental support staff for more
information.)
- Press E (Exit Setup) to exit and Y (Yes) to save your
changes.
- Quit and restart PC-Pine.
