INTRODUCTION

Pine 4, the popular email program for Unix computers, is available as PC-Pine 4 for desktop computers running Windows 95, 98, or Windows NT.

PC-Pine has the same look and feel as Unix Pine with these additional features:

  • PC-Pine runs directly from your PC.
  • You can easily include any of your Windows files in email messages as attachments.
  • You can easily save email messages or attachments directly to the disk on your PC.
  • PC-Pine uses IMAP (rather than POP) and leaves your mail on the deskmail server.
  • You can use other computers to get access to the messages in your inbox.
  • You can access existing Pine mail folders and address books.
  • You can use your mouse to navigate within PC-Pine.
