Title: Can I add additional subscribers to my Mailman class list?

Question: I have some students who are not registered for my class but who
I would like to subscribe to my Mailman class list. Can I add them as
subscribers? Will any changes I make to the subscribers file be
overwritten by the nightly updates?

Answer:

You can add or remove subscribers from Mailman class lists just like you
would on any other Mailman list.  Any changes you make will not be
overwritten by the nightly updates.

To add additional subscribers to the Mailman class list, log on with your
UW NetID and password to the list's administration page at

	https://mailman.u.washington.edu/mailman/admin/listname

where "listname" is replaced with the actual name of your list. 

Once you are logged in, you should see a series of Configuration
Categories at the top of the page. Click on the "Membership Management"
link and then click the "Mass Subscription" link that appears below the
"Membership Management" link.

Enter the addresses you want to add to the text box, one address per line.
When finished, submit your changes at the bottom of the page.
