Question:
(1) How do I find the online staff directory?
(2) What is the source of information for the UW Online Faculty/Staff
Directory? 
(3) How can I make corrections to my Staff Directory information?

Answer:
(1) The UW Online Staff Directory is available in two ways:

  . through the UW Home Page (http://www.washington.edu) under the 
    link "Directories" on the blue bar at the top of the page;

  . from any of the Uniform Access systems (Homer, Dante, etc.) by 
    keying "staffdir" at the system prompt (key the command "man staffdir"
    for a set of instructions on its usage).

(2) The source for Staff Directory information is the Higher Education
    Payroll Personnel System (HEPPS) database.

(3) Changes to directory data can be made online through Employee
    Self-Service (https://prp.admin.washington.edu/ess/). You may also contact
    your departmental Payroll Coordinator for assistance in updating your
    directory information.

    Changes made online will be effective in the directory the following
    day, except during periods of intense Payroll processing when it may
    take 2-3 days.
