Title:  How do I subscribe to a newsgroup using Pine 4?

Question:
I read my email using Pine 4 and I want to subscribe to some newsgroups.
What do I use and how do I do it?

Answer:
To subscribe easily to a newsgroup, use the newsreader that is available
in Pine 4: 

1. At the Pine Main Menu, type "L" (FOLDER LIST). 

2. Down arrow to "News on news.u.washington.edu/nntp" and press Return.

3. Type "A" (Add).

4. Type in a full or partial newsgroup name, or type "^T" (To All Grps) to
   see a complete list of newsgroups (this may take a while). 

5. If you typed "^T" to look at all of the newsgroups, you can search for
   full or partial titles using "W" (WhereIs). Once you've found the
   newsgroup you want to subscribe to, type "S" (Subscribe) and then press
   Return.
